Red Cedar River - Williamston

The rapids in Williamston are man-made, but I still enjoy watching the water flow over the rocks. Occasionally, there are kayakers shooting the rapids.

Wetlands - Williamston

This wetlands/swamp is behind an office building on Grand River Ave. I think it is a flood plain for the Red Cedar River. The light green that looks like grass is a thin layer of algae on the water. I am not sure why so many trees are dead.

Barton Road Tunnel of Trees - Williamstown Township

I enjoy driving through the rural roads in Michigan. There are many beautiful sights to see. One of my favorite drives close to home is the tunnel of trees on Barton Road. It is great in the summer when all of trees are leafed out. It is also beautiful other times of the year as well.

This is a view to the north between Haslett Road and Germany Road.

This is a view to the south between Germany Road and Sherwood Road. I love the way the crest of the hill makes it look like the road disappears.

Michigan 4-H Children's Garden - East Lansing

I have heard about the Children's Garden at Michigan State University for a long time. I finally had the opportunity to see it today.

Fawns - Okemos

These two fawns were in a field next to Nancy Moore Park in Okemos.

If you look a little closer, you can see the one on the right still has the remnants of its spots. They were probably born this spring.

Christ Community Church - Lansing

As I walked in to work this morning, I noticed the sunrise over the church. It was really beautiful.

This one is the same church from a couple of weeks ago.
